Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026.

This page explains what information we collect, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it. It is written for the small business owners we work with and for anyone who visits this site.

Who we are

Proven Shorts is a marketing agency run by an individual, Kopal. We study which short video formats already earn views in a small business's category on Instagram, then produce short vertical videos for that business.

For anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete your information, write to [email protected].

What this website collects

provenshorts.com is a static site. In practice that means:

You can read every page and watch every sample without telling us who you are. The only way to contact us is to send an email or an Instagram direct message, and you start both of those yourself.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may write short technical logs of requests, such as an IP address, a timestamp and the page requested. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you or to target you with anything. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so any such logs sit with Cloudflare and are kept under Cloudflare’s own policy and retention periods, not ours.

When you email us

Email you send to us is received in our mailbox and retained so we can reply and keep a record of what was discussed or agreed. That includes your name, your email address and whatever you choose to write to us. We do not add you to a mailing list because you emailed us.

When you message us on Instagram

Our own account is @provenshorts. A direct message you send there lives inside Instagram. Instagram is run by Meta, and your use of it is governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy, not by this page. We read those messages, we may reply, and we may keep a short note of the conversation (who you are, what you asked, what we said) outside Instagram so we can follow up.

What we hold while we work for you

If you become a client, we hold what we need to make and place your videos, and nothing else:

We do not ask you for your customer lists, your customer records or your employee records, and you should not send them to us.

Account access under Option B

Under Option B you own a brand new Instagram account and add us as a partner in Meta Business Suite with content and insights permissions. That lets us post your videos and read the account's performance figures. We never hold your password. You can remove our partner access from Meta Business Suite at any time, without asking us first, and our access ends immediately when you do.

Payment information

Payment is by PayPal, Goods and Services. PayPal handles the payment itself and holds your payment details under its own privacy policy. We see what PayPal shows the person being paid: a name, an amount, a date and a transaction reference. We do not see or store your full card or bank details.

How long we keep things

We keep client material for as long as we are working together. After that we keep only what we still need: billing and tax records, for as long as tax and accounting rules require, the videos we produced, and a short record of results. Email threads stay in our mailbox so we have a history of what was agreed. Anything we are not required to keep, we will delete if you ask.

What we never do with your information

Third parties involved

Three companies are involved in the ordinary running of this business, and each has its own privacy policy that governs your dealings with it:

We do not control those companies and we cannot answer for their policies. If you want to know what they hold, read their policies and ask them directly.

Asking for a copy or a deletion

Write to [email protected] and say what you want. You do not need to cite a law, fill in a form or explain yourself. Depending on where you live you may have a right to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will do it unless we are required to keep the record, and if we have to keep something we will tell you what and why. We aim to answer within 30 days.

We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act on a request, usually by replying to an address or account we already deal with.

Children

Our services are sold to businesses. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects a current client, we will tell that client by email rather than expecting them to notice.

Contact

[email protected] for everything, including privacy questions and deletion requests.
